Will IFTTT.com make my life a living hell?
On the advice of a will known social media guru, I have activated an account with a new social networking monster call IFTTH (or If Then Then That). Basically if you do something (or something occurs) on one media you can trigger and action to occur on another media. My first test will be to see if Tumblr posts would trigger a post on Facebook. Now I know that you can do this through Tumblr. But in this instance, it was just for a test.
You can also set up things like, if phone rings then send me an email or whatever. Actually I don’t know if it will do that. But maybe. Or you can do things like, if someone sends you an email with an attachment it can be downloaded to Dropbox.
So I am going to try it out. And hopefully it won’t back fire on me too bad.
